How do I reprogram Function, Delete or Cursor keys?

  1. In the Sessions Dialog, select a session for a telnet session and press o to configure the session.
  2. Press k and Key configuration menu will pop up
  3. Select the desired Shift state for the function key you want to program. For example, if you want to program F1 you will select the option in the Shift state dialog box.
  4. Select the key you want to program in the Key dialog box.
  5. Press t and enter the desired text you want to program. Note: you can enter non-printable characters in the Key text field by entering a back slash followed by a numeric number. For example, to enter Esc type \027.
  6. Select Save or press to save the session configuration.
